Accepting what is

We cannot change anything until we accept it. Condemnation does not liberate, it oppresses.

I was confident enough to express my belief that US presidential candidate Robert F. Kennedy Jr. (RFK Jr) was our best hope to help:

What happens in the United States can have far-reaching consequences beyond its borders, especially in Canada.

When it became clear that RFK Jr would not lead the Democrats, or succeed as an Independent, he was advised to do the unthinkable, join Trump. I was stunned.

Being an optimist, however, with an open heart and mind, I listened to ethical strategists who made compelling arguments for the disruptive power of some of the people Trump has surrounded himself with.

I am not under the influence of social media or television. Rather than being misled by the mainstream media, I accessed reliable information from credible, independent sources.

The election outcome raises serious questions about the media’s credibility. Trust must be reinstated.

Closing thought

The bud may have a bitter taste, But sweet will be the flower.

~ William Cowper

I accept what is and hope that this time Trump along with RFK Jr, Elon Musk, Casey and Calley Means do what they can to reunite a divided country and Make America Healthy Again (MAHA).
