Disconnected

If you build it, [they] will come.

~ Field of Dreams

I am not opposed to technological progress.

I am grateful both for the modern conveniences of life and for easy access to information from the comforts of home.

Although I blog weekly, and could be reaching a wider audience by promoting the site on other social media platforms, I have been wary to do so.

The blog is intended to share wellness content, as I learn and unlearn, with friends, family, clients, and anyone else for whom the content resonates.

WIX made it easy for me to create the site, but I have neither taken the time, nor spent the money to make it more accessible.

The Field of Dreams quote above, perhaps arrogantly, crossed my mind when I first created it.

A few times in the past, I did send a group email promoting what I wrote. But, I never wanted to inflict my thoughts and opinions upon anyone, especially during the pandemic.

People have the right to choose their own path.

Building bridges, not walls

What I do is the opposite of building walls. I build bridges. A bridge is something that connects instead of separating.

~ Santiago Calatrava

Occasionally, I hear that some who subscribed no longer get notifications. My apologies.

Please rest assured that I do not unsubscribe anyone. I sincerely appreciate any interest shown.

I suspect one becomes unsubscribed due to inactivity or failure to click on notifications for one reason or another.

What I aspire to do is build bridges, not walls.

Other than location, at this time I cannot see who has opened the blog.

A heartfelt thank you to those of you who care enough to read what I write.
