I never nap.
I have a lot of energy.
Seldom am I sleepy during the day - even when I don't get much sleep at night.
But last Friday evening, after getting very little shut-eye two nights in a row, I was SO sleepy on my two and a half hour drive home. I was a hazard to society.
An hour into the drive, I had to stop. I'd even forgotten to fill up on gas. The car too was running on fumes. That was not safe.
Since our vacation, the first week of July, I have spent many nights as the primary caregiver for our granddaughter. She has a lot of energy, occasionally even in the middle of the night.
Although, on occasion, I have found myself sleepy during my lengthy commute, the love in my heart energizes and nourishes every cell in my body.
